Using Mineral Makeup
Have you tried Mineral Makeup? Here are some tips on the correct way to apply Mineral Makeup for a perfect finish?
Make sure your skin is moisturized. This makeup is pure powder and if you have dry skin you will need apply some moisture so the powders can adhere. Whenever you apply a moisturizer give it several minutes to sink into your skin. Go and finish dressing or something.
It is best to apply your eye makeup first before applying your foundation. This way your final foundation application will be a flawless finish without the colors of your eye makeup getting on it by accident.
Next apply any cover ups to your problem areas. We all have them so just go with it. If you are using mineral cover up start with very little and add more as needed.
The common way to apply powdered mineral makeup is to tap a tiny bit into the cap of whichever product you are using, such as foundation, use your application brush to swirl it into the powder and then tap the excess off on the edge of your container.
Now taking your kabuki or foundation brush swirl the makeup onto your face. A little goes a long way so start with what looks like nothing on your brush and you can always apply more if needed.
Finally add your finishing powder. This will set your makeup and give you a flawless finish.
Mineral makeup is great for those with sensitive skin, or that suffer from skin conditions that cannot take regular makeup.
When choosing your mineral makeup you may have to play with mixing foundation colors to get the right color for you.
If you’ve never tried mineral makeup find a brand that will send you samples or a sample kit.
