A Few Reasons Why You Should Start Exercising

Do you ever wonder why people exercise? I mean what do they get out if? It must be something…

1. More Energy. Strangely enough hitting the gym, weights, pavement or what have you helps you to have more overall energy.  But really physical exercise can help just start those brain cells and combat fatigue.
2. Reduces Stress – A good workout can help you calm down and relax. If you have a weighty issue on your mind try putting it on the table and taking a good walk instead.
3. Weight Loss – Coupled with a sensible diet regular exercise can help you to lose unwanted pounds and maintain a healthy weight.
So now you have three very good reasons to start to exercise. Sometimes these reasons can be motivation enough to keep you going but just in case they aren’t here are some great exercise motivators.

  • Make exercise a habit. Give it 21 days and it should stick! If you slip off the wagon jump right back on. Don’t give yourself excuses just get back at it.
  • Have support. Family and or friends who encourage you and check in on your goals. If you have a close friend or family member who works out with you even better.
  • Don’t think you have to do the hardest workout there is. Walking is a wonderful way to see the benefits listed above. Have a rainy day or don’t feel like going out? Don’t worry many people report great results using simple walking programs such as Leslie Sansone’s Walk Away the Pounds. With great additions such as simple toning moves you get a great workout in the privacy of your living room
  • If you would rather pick up some weight and do a few lunges give The FIRM. a try. Always on the verge of new exercising breakthrough The FIRM.’s testimonials are hard to beat and I have one too…
  • A while after a giving birth (yes it took me a while to feel motivated again even though I worked out through my pregnancy) I moved from an in home walking program I borrowed a FIRM. exercise video from the library. I fell in love with what I felt were entertaining but very thorough workouts and never looked back. I haven’t counted how many I have but they make up my workout routines and they did help me to lose weight and tone up considerably.
